His work on Rima Das’s Village Rockstars 2—winner of the Kim Jiseok Award at Busan and nominated at Berlinale 2024—stands alongside his editorial contribution to the Oscar-nominated Writing with Fire, a landmark in Indian documentary cinema.
He is currently in the running for Best Editor at the Earth in Focus 2025 awards for Leopard Dynasty, produced by Terramatter Studios.
Over the years, Akash has collaborated with leading global platforms, including Arte, VICE Media and National Geographic, solidifying his presence on the international stage.
